Since releasing SSL we have run into some bumps along the way in the feature not running as expected. It's supposed to be on an automated system, and it is, but the system isn't handling what is needed in order for the automation to work smoothly. This week our team has identified where in the feature it's not working as expected, causing SSL certs to go down and sites to reflect as nonsecure. They are trying to re-examine the way SSL is being handled so that they can implement a solid solution moving forward. Once this is in place we will update the status page to reflect it as operational.
